In iTunes, you can just drag the playlist with local audio files and drop it to the application outside of iTunes. With the release of Music as a replacement for iTunes, it became impossible to provide its playlists to external applications, such as Tag Editor.
To fix this omission, the Tag Editor provides a special command allowing importing audio tracks from iTunes/Music - File / Import from Music.
